I came across these airbrush kits through TCP Global and just had to throw them up here. Airbrushing is a great hobby and one that I love to do in my spare time. Now being around paint all day you would think I’d want nothing to do with airbrushing, I mean I use one pretty much on a daily basis, but it’s different. When you sit down to create a piece of art it’s completely different then repairing a leather seat. Yes you do use your artistic abilities to do any type of upholstery repair, but when your creating a piece of art you kinda go into a different zone, at least I do. Read the rest of this entry »

I’ve been working lately with different leather repair compounds on leather wrapped steering wheels. There are so many different compounds used to repair leather but few that work really well for a leather steering wheel. The steering wheel takes more abuse then just about any other part in your vehicle. Think about it, you have to touch your steering wheel to drive and most of us don’t realize the damage until its already happened. There are some of you out there that have got to have a nervous habit or just like to rub the steering wheel a lot or something due to the shape of some of the steering wheels I repair, wow. The holidays are finally over and we all can relax again. Hope you all had a great time spending it with family and friends. It’s always great spending some good quality time with the ones you love.While spending that time it never fails you come across an old piece of furniture in your parents garage that catches your eye and reminds you of your younger years. It’s still in great shape and you want to take it home but the only problem is it’s just ugly and out of date. There is a solution though, make it new again.
